We were working on our wedding for months and months, and were highly invested in time and energy. Eventually it just became too stressful for us. It was supposed to be a happy time in our lives, and we were feeling very burdened with organizing the massive project.

Fortunately we found Corina and she saved the day. We started working with her about a month before the event, and she floored us with her organization and design capabilities. She immediately got our aesthetic (farm / barn wedding, rustic yet classy) and was able to offer up design ideas. The next day we had a spreadsheet in our mailbox, and we were on the way to a perfectly planned wedding. We breathed a HUGE sigh of relief. Sigh sigh sigh. We had total confidence in her!

Corina worked so hard for us and gave us such great value that we couldn't wait to pay and tip her. Seriously, nobody works harder than Corina at making the event perfect. She was running around the morning-of, placing flower arrangements, pointing caterers to where things were to be setup, hanging lights, making phone calls, and creating the perfect 'look'. Guest after guest came up offering the highest praise over every detail that was looked after. Corina made the magic happen -- and we got to enjoy the day and celebrate the way a wedding is to be celebrated.

I was fortunate enough to have Corina as my wedding planner. She is amazing in every way. If you want someone who is resourceful, sticks to your budget, gets as excited as you for your event, really listens to what you want but always has ideas, and will be your best friend and savior on your wedding day, then she is the gal for you.

She is also a "green" event planner/consultant so if that matters to you it's a huge bonus to work with her. However, she wouldn't force her agenda on you if you wanted ridiculous details for your wedding (I don't think). Trying to plan a wedding by yourself? Stop. Call her. My wife is at a loss so I'm taking over at the keyboard. Corina was a delight to work with -- fun, energetic, well-connected, and disciplined enough to keep us on our game. We initially found her because we wanted someone with expertise in green wedding planning -- but it turns out she's also just a top-notch wedding planner.

She was great in the beginning but her true talent showed through when our venue cancelled on us with a month to go (through no fault of her own). She quickly sprung into action, found us other options, and worked long hours to shift all of the logistics.

Her attention to detail is incomparable. This came through partially in her helping us make decisions which were environmentally conscious. She even was able to make the event a "one trash bag" wedding-- except for one garbage bag, all other waste was either recycled, reused, or composted.

And, day of, Corina was a graceful and effective executive who made sure every last detail worked out well. We could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out.

In addition to her organization strengths and personal charm, she has quite an eye -- a sense of wedding aesthetics which is rich, beautiful, and her own, but capable of enriching anyone's vision.

We have already recommended her to friends, and will continue to do so for others. Now, we just hope that she'll be our friend.

Corina was a huge help in our wedding planning. When my husband and I started out the process of planning our wedding we had a clear idea of what we wanted, but we had no idea how to make it happen. We aren't the wedding book/magazine type and we really needed some proper guidance.

Corina helped us prioritize what was important to us and how to make it happen within our budget. She taught of DYI skills to help make cute vintage signage for the event. Her focus on green events also made us comfortable with the resources we used. She is very creative and has solutions and practical ways to make any of your wedding dreams possible. We couldn't be happier with having chosen Corina and Vibrant Events to help make our wedding so special. I met Corina through our caterer, LRE (also wonderful), and right away I appreciated her professionalism, suggestions, and humor! I feel that my husband and I got the best deal ever choosing the expanded "week-of" planning services, as Corina devoted so much individual attention to our wedding several months in advance including planning meetings, trips to look at linens, site visits.

While we vetted and chose all our vendors ourselves, Corina had worked with most of them before, so her connections and expertise was really valuable. She knew when to take our ideas and run with them, and also knew when to give advice and suggestions, case in point, that we probably should have some flowers, a suggestion which ended up really making our design scheme amazing. (Concepts can change up to the last minute and Corina rolled with every punch and always supported us).

Most importantly, Corina had the daunting task of trying to blend one groom's simple, rustic Quaker aesthetic with the other groom's love for a classic, old-world San Francisco space like the Bently Reserve. Corina helped make my dream of a Quaker ceremony in that space possible, and our design concept perfectly blended the different aspects.

The week-of the wedding Corina picked-up and transported all our items, and on the day was in the wedding suite helping with all manner of set up and organization. I never worried for an instant that she had everything totally under control. Most importantly, when a minor crisis arose about the cushions on the benches, and I said I had to have them, she smiled and said "I got it," and they were there.

Corina's professional, yet confidently relaxed and cheerful attitude worked really well with our personalities, especially mine, which is prone to a need to control. Are there things that happen at a wedding beyond anyone's control or your planner's - of course. I never expected a planner to drive the delivery truck herself or put up chairs herself or cook 75 pieces of fish herself. I let go and enjoyed myself, knowing Corina would take care of what could be fixed, and would make sure I had a glass of champagne for the rest.

I worked with Corina to plan my husband's surprise 40th birthday party, which was a huge success thanks to her. She was great every step of the way.

After our first meeting, the proposal she put together really showed she was listening to all the things I wanted for the event. She really embraced the Arabian Nights party theme and made lots of fun suggestions to enhance it.

When it came time to select vendors she had great resources. The special deals she was able to get more than covered her fees. Every vendor she recommended was top notch, including the food. She was really good about keeping my budget in mind and frequently checked in to give me budget updates.

The event went off perfectly. There were about 60 people there and everyone I spoke to had so many compliments to say about the party.

Where to begin? My husband and I thought that we wouldn't need a wedding planner because we were planning a mellow park wedding with biergarten reception and keeping things simple. For about 100 people. Corina was recommended by another friend who had the opposite sort of wedding - more people, super fancy, all the stops including a macaroni bar, need I say more - and she had loved Corina. After realizing that we did not want to handle organizing the day of the wedding, we decided to hire her for day-of services, which is wrong bc it is so much more than "day-of", and it was THE BEST money we spent. THE BEST.

Corina has the perfect personality for event planning. She is an easy laugh, calm, present, a good listener, and what shocked us day-of bc we had not witnessed it - stern and direct and gets it done (BBQers were parked where we were having the ceremony in the park and gave her lip when she asked them to move - she handled it beautifully and they moved).

She was organized and well-connected. Hooked us up with a fantastic chair guy (Elvia's in Redwood City), had the idea for our warm after-party (Crimson Louge) which turned out to be the dance party of the century, supported my DIY approach to flowers, kept us on track, did not spaz when I chose my shoes and jewelry the morning of the wedding, and really "got" that we were trying to keep things simple and not buy in to the whole wedding mega-industry thing. Also had great ideas to minimize waste and impact. Amazing. Our wedding ran smoothly and on time and I credit Corina 100% for that.

I cannot emphasize enough how great she was. We did not worry about a thing, despite some hiccups. She handled it all. Fantastic. I never thought I'd be a big wedding planner supporter and holy cow, she proved her weight in gold. If you don't think you need one, you are wrong. You do and you need Corina. And you'll see why.

I hired Corina to help me coordinate my wedding October of 2009. Honestly, I could not have been happier with the service she provided me. She helped us tremendously on coming up with the design aspect of the wedding. I had a lot of ideas, but she really helped me focus them and come up with something beautiful. She has a real talent with design and décor.

Not only did Corina find us a number of organic bakers and florists to interview pronto but she was always ready with a big smile and tons of resources! She always seemed to be in the know about all things sustainable and was hooked in with the businesses with the values we were looking for!

I don't actually think I started having fun with my wedding planning until she came into the picture...her attitude really helped lift me out of my then very stressed out state! She was so proficient at what she was doing for us that we ended up hiring her to be the onsite coordinator at our reception...she did a great job there too!
